This month I’m also preparing a major solo exhibition called ‘Creative Journeys’ at Theatr Ffwrness (February 28th – 8th April). Going to be quite a dramatic presentation. Please see News/Events for updates.
From my traditional watercolour Paintings, I transform images into contemporary Intaglio Strati Panels and Quilts – a technique developed and named myself. I start with colour.
Up to 15 layers of luscious Rajasthan silks, fine wools and cottons are carved to create a high textile relief. Some pictures are enhanced with hand embroidery. I also create high quality limited edition themed collections of ‘my posh scarves’ in silk, giglee prints, blank cards and mugs.
‘Quite unique and very different’ – say many gallery visitors.
Why not Visit my solo gallery in Carmarthen?
Hand-finished, limited edition 100% silk scarves, inspired by my Intaglio Strati textile relief artworks. This is my 3rd collection. Some designs available in various colour schemes too.
Special fashion pieces for special people.
‘my posh scarves’ are stunning and rather lush – S. Lambell.
‘They are rather beautiful’ – Diane Vickers
‘I put mine on every morning for a few minutes to make me feel wonderful’ – J. Kear
Themes include Pembrokeshire Seascapes, Towy Valley Carmarthenshire Castles, Rock Woman series, Creative Journeys, Hidden Strengths, Diary of an Artist and Botanical images.
Commissions available for special feature wall artworks.
Interior Designers and buyers of personal art and fashion are very welcome to meet me in my Carmarthen gallery, West Wales too.
Enjoy creative workshops to design your own Heirloom. I offer 1:1 or 1:2 sessions in my gallery to develop your personal style of Intaglio Strai textile reliefs from your own favourite photographs or paintings.
Larger group one day bookings also available at your own venues.

When my plants are outside, I’m inside creating another artwork. Don’t be shy – come and see how one media is transformed into another. I’m happy to be disturbed!
I change the exhibitions every 6 weeks so there’s always something new to see.
‘Visiting the gallery is a true colour experience – can be quite mind blowing, so best to allow time to absorb her collections, use of colour and design’ – J Brocklhurst (Bristol)
You can even create your own heirloom artwork in 1:1 sessions.
‘Cynth can also help you find something special for that very special person or feature wall. A great welcome and she is happy to speak Welsh too’ – J Williams (Cardiff)
